No accounts, no database

This site has no user accounts and no database. We do not ask you to sign in.

Cookie and counters

We set one anonymous signed cookie, tr_visitor, to count free verdicts per browser. A hash of that identifier is used for usage counters stored in files outside the public web root.

Rate limiting

To limit abuse we store a hash of your IP address, not the raw address, for short-term rate limiting.

Search queries

The product text you submit is sent to xAI to generate the verdict, and to Google News to retrieve related RSS links. Their own policies apply to that data. Do not enter personal information.

Fonts and hosting logs

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the usual network information for those requests. Your hosting provider may also maintain web-server access logs under its own policies.
